Adapted from Emma Donoghue's 2010 novel of the same name, Room stars Brie Larson and Jacob Tremblay as a mother and son held captive in a room for several years. As they secure their release, Tremblay's Jack gets to experience the world beyond their small room for the first time. The film also stars Joan Allen as Larson's mother.
