Episode 026 - Best Picture 1939 - Gone with the Wind
This week the guys discuss one of the biggest, longest, most-celebrated movies of all time. Gone with the Wind won the Academy Award for Best Picture (along with 9 other Oscars) in 1939. The book it is based upon won the Pulitzer Prize and is one of the best selling novels of all time. Even now, 75 years after its release, this movie (adjusted for inflation) is the all-time domestic box office champion.
