Everyone’s favorite Elisabeth Moss (Escape to Witch Mountain - TV version) stars in this slight update of Universal’s Invisible Man. If you’ve never seen a movie like this, you could watch this one. If you’ve ever seen a movie like this, you do not need to see this one.
It Follows is a genuinely creepy film. The film sticks with you long after you see it, oozing dread. The film is also a time capsule, a snapshot of American B-movie horror cinema, that transports you as it squeezes the breath from your lungs. This week the guys discuss the 2006 horror-comedy Slither, written and directed by James Gunn the force behind Marvel Studios' latest hopeful-blockbuster The Guardians of the Galaxy. With only one other full-length feature on his resume, Gunn earned the right to write and direct the huge franchise flick (and its recently announced sequel in 2017).
